The early career cohort team is excited to announce our 3rd Annual International Early Career AGU Workshop on “Toward an International Critical Zone Network-of-Networks for the Next Generation through Shared Science, Tools, Data and Philosophy”. The workshop will be held virtually the week prior to the AGU Fall Meeting in December. To register, please follow this link.
To help shape this workshop, several webinar-based discussions are being held prior to the actual workshop. After a successful stint at the first of our Fall 2021 CUAHSI series (which you can watch here), our team is pleased to announce a new series on Tools for integrating and synthesizing data from CZOs and watershed sites. The second webinar series hosted by CUAHSI will occur every Thursday from October 21 till December 2 at 9:00 AM Pacific. The webinar and workshop will focus on developing cross-cutting science questions, networking and planning for research coordination, and identifying opportunities to work across sites/networks.
The first webinar will be held on Oct 21st and provide an overview of the innovative and computationally advanced data repositories, cyberinfrastructure tools, workflows and modelling approaches that can enhance opportunities for synthesis. Confirmed speakers include Jerad Bales (CUAHSI Coordinating hub) and David Moulton (LANL). If you’re interested in learning about this newly formed network and opportunities to engage therein, we encourage you to attend and help build a new scientific vision through shared science, tools, data and philosophy.
