The report tracks the investment and financing trends in Indonesia’s power sector, quantifying capital expenditures and assessing future spending needs under a sustainable pathway, and summarises the country’s macroeconomic performance. In addition, the report characterises the availability of public and private funds by provider, origin and instrument. The report identifies key issues that affect investment decisions in renewable power generation as well as in sources of flexibility and presents three essential factors to take into account in policy making.
