This document provides guidance for applicants who wish to apply to the Minister for the Environment for their project to be referred to an expert consenting panel under the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act 2020.

The new legislation fast-tracks resource consenting and designation processes for eligible projects that meet the purpose of the Act. The Guidance provides information to help applicants and local authorities who will be involved in applications to refer projects to an expert consneting panel. It is to be read in conjunction with the application form.
