"Explore’’! is a mix of adventures filled with challenges.
This December 5th, let us mobilize for the International Day of Volunteers! This day dedicated to volunteers is an opportunity for promoting commitment and to pay tribute the volunteers from around the world.
WWF is joining this celebration, through its Explore! Program. Youth from all over the world are devoted for making a lasting contribution to conservation action. Since 2005, more than 200 youth have been able to work with local communities and facing the daily challenges of conservation.
Tahina Rajaobelison, 27, has a degree in geography. He was an Explore! Volunteer in Ambilobe in the Northern Mozambique Channel landscape. "My volunteering has helped me both professional and personal level, to mention only endurance, conflict management, adaptation to a multicultural environment", he says
Due to his volunteering, he is currently a fellow at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and participates in the DESMAN 2019 (Durrell Endangered Species Management), which is a graduate course for conservation leaders. "Explore’’! is a mix of adventures filled with challenges. He concludes.
The WWF offers an unforgettable experience, through youth volunteering who are the futures of tomorrow. If you too want to contribute to nature conservation, get started and commit to volunteering!
