3月27日,美国加利福尼亚大学圣地亚哥分校(University of California, San Diego)在《自然》(Nature)发表题为《全球变暖推迟全球计时问题》(A Global Timekeeping Problem Postponed by Global Warming)的文章指出,全球变暖导致格陵兰岛和南极冰川加速融化,两极冰川质量减少,进而使得地球自转角速度变慢,推迟闰秒调整时间,影响全球计时。
