Atmospheric Science Conference

The first of three Atmospheric Science Conference (ASC) meetings will take place in person on Wednesday, 6 July 2022, in Manchester.

ASC will bring together people from across the UK for a series of meetings on Atmospheric Science for Society, with contributions across climate change, air pollution and weather.

Join the National Centre for Atmospheric Science and the Royal Meteorological Society as we support our community to share sector-wide updates, inspire new ideas, and form collaborations.

The conference creates a space to discuss ground-breaking discoveries, global context, multidisciplinary work, and scientific applications.

It is time to think collectively about our future.

Student & Early Career Scientists Conference 2022: Connect, Communicate, Collaborate

Two days before the Atmospheric Science Conference, also in Manchester, on Monday 4 - Tuesday 5 July 2022, the annual student conference provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduates, graduate students and early-career scientists to present their work in a friendly environment. There will be keynote speakers and poster sessions alongside a series of oral presentations.

The conference theme is 'Connect, Communicate, Collaborate', and the event is back in a physical venue so delegates can experience the conference with all the networking and socialising opportunities available. There will, however, still be an online presence for those who cannot attend in person.

The programme this year has several themes, including topics on Tropics, Subtropics and Teleconnections to Communications, Industry and Applications.

There will be two keynote sessions across the two days that will focus on the Communications and International Collaborations and Partnerships. Industry experts will take part and be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Delegate rates are available for both in-person and virtual attendance.
