WASHINGTON — Discover the latest in ocean sciences research at the online Ocean Sciences Meeting, bringing together researchers from the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS).
The Ocean Sciences Press Office plans to issue press releases about newsworthy research being presented at the meeting. Media registration will remain available through the close of the meeting on 4 March. Register in advance to avoid delays and enjoy immediate access when the meeting opens on 24 February.
Program online everywhere
Registered media and attendees will have access to uploaded posters and 15-minute pre-recorded talks through the online meeting platform starting Wednesday, 23 February.
Live research presentations, plenaries and discussions will begin Monday, 28 February. Live research talks will be held in Zoom with six presenters speaking for 5 minutes each followed by 30 minutes of discussion with the attending audience. Poster presenters will give 2-minute introductions to their work in groups of 8-12, followed by discussion. Recordings of live sessions will be available from the abstract pages 24 hours after the events.
Access #OSM22 content through the presentation pages in the program by logging in to the online platform. Presentation abstracts are available now and free to browse without registration.

Media registration
The OSM Media Relations Office provides complimentary media registration to professional journalists and journalism students for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce media coverage of the Ocean Sciences Meeting. Press officers from universities, government agencies, and research institutions are also eligible for media registration to support media outreach for research being presented at #OSM22.
Media registrants receive, at no charge, access to all scientific sessions. Some events and activities, including but not limited to invitation-only events and communications workshops, are not open to press registrants.
Media access to the meeting is issued at the discretion of the OSM Media Relations Office and approval may take up to five business days.
Please visit the Media Registration page to learn more about eligibility and credentialing requirements. Media access is non-transferable. All registrants must provide credentials regardless of whether they have attended past Ocean Sciences Meetings.
