Dear colleagues,
The upcoming inaugural community-driven Frontiers in Hydrology Meeting, co-sponsored by AGU and CUAHSI, will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico and in an online capacity on 19-24 June 2022.
Please consider submitting abstracts to the session "Sharing Experiences in Developing, Implementation, and Evaluation of Digital Hydrology Learning Resources". This session invites hydrology and water resources instructors to share their experiences in the development and implementation of learning resources for remote learning, and/or results from research on evaluation of these resources. Topics of interest include: collaborative development of the learning resources and the long-term maintenance, adoption/adaptation of existing resources and pedagogical approaches, and associated challenges and lessons learned, all from instructors, developers, and students’ perspectives. We particularly welcome submissions from primarily undergraduate institutions.
The format of this session is innovative: Each of 12 presenters will have 4-minute: a 2-minute pre-recorded video (introducing learning resource content), followed by another 2 minutes of any additional information (using slides or verbally) regarding challenges in development, implementation, evaluation, or lessons learned related to their learning resources. We will wrap up with a 12-minute open Q&A session.
The abstract submission portal is accessible via this link: https://agu.confex.com/agu/hydrology22/prelim.cgi/Session/142911. The submission deadline is Wednesday, 26 January 2022 at 23:59 EST.
All the best,
Tao Wen, Syracuse University
Belize Lane, Utah State University
Emad Habib, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Cory Forbes, the University of Texas at Arlington
