正文(英文) | Antarctic ice chemistry affected by ozone holeNew research reveals impacts of ozone depletion on iodine in Antarctic iceNov 3, 2021 - by Staff The ozone hole affects more than the health of human, terrestrial, and marine ecosystems. It also affects environmental chemical processes at the South Pole. An international research team has produced the first study on the effects of ozone depletion on iodine trapped in Antarctic ice. The research was coordinated by the Institute of Polar Sciences of Italy's National Research Council and Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and included scientists from the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
