AngloGold Ashanti said on Thursday underground ore mining at its Ghanaian Obuasi gold mine is expected to resume by mid-October after operations were suspended following a ground collapse in May. One mine worker was killed in the incident and the gold miner had to suspend its annual production and cost forecasts for the mine. Obuasi was expected to contribute 300,000 to 350,000 ounces to 2021 output guidance and an estimated all-in sustaining cost of $950 to $1,050 per ounce. (By Sachin Ravikumar; Editing by Arun Koyyur)
