From 2016 to 2030, Southeast Asia needs an estimated $210 billion annually for investments in climate resilient infrastructure. Progress in bridging this financing gap is vitally important for the region to recover from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The IH contributes by providing innovative finance solutions that aim to leverage each $1 of sovereign finance to attract $5–$6 of green and sustainable capital into projects in the region.
