ANU has committed to transition to reach net greenhouse gas zero emissions by 2025 and below zero emissions by 2030. The Below Zero Engagement Manager will play a key role in planning and managing Below Zero’s engagement activities, including integration with teaching, facilitating Below Zero research projects, internships and guest lectures, and establishing and supporting community engagement and communications programs.

To excel in this role, you will have experience in community engagement, communications, change management, research management and / or education development. Qualifications or experience in climate change mitigation, adaptation, emissions accounting, energy and / or environmental communications will be highly regarded. You will be a strong communicator and collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills.
