英文摘要 | Host-specific natural enemies limit the abundance of common species. This can increase host community diversity, since no single species dominates, and is known as the ‘Janzen-Connell effect.’ Evidence is now accumulating that host-specific mutualists can increase abundances of particular host species, hence reducing community diversity, comprising a ‘reverse Janzen-Connell effect.’ |
