The House impeached President Donald Trump Wednesday for the second time—a historic, bipartisan condemnation of an outgoing president, as Politico reports.

Single-Day Covid Death Record

The United States reported more than 4,200 deaths Tuesday, a single-day record, bringing the nation’s total to more than 381,000 deaths since the onset of the pandemic, according to Washington Post.

Iran Assembling Gear Able to Produce Key Nuclear-Weapons Material

Iran has taken a significant new step toward possible atomic-weapons production, starting work on an assembly line to manufacture a key material used at the core of nuclear warheads, the United Nations atomic agency said in a confidential report Wednesday, as the WSJ reports.
