英文摘要

One of the co-authors for the latest Global Environmental Outlook (GEO) for Business is Felipe Villela, co-founder of the Dutch/Brazilian startup reNature. ReNature is promoting Regenerative Agroforestry, aiming to regenerate 1M hectares and secure food security for 10M farmers by 2030. To do so, reNature is working hard to bring regenerative agroforestry to the mainstream for farmers and businesses alike. Felipe will be closely involved with writing of the thematic brief on ‘The changing role of business in transforming food systems’, taking a focus on the potential of regenerative agriculture and agroforestry.

The thematic brief on the changing role of business in transforming food systems is meant to be practical and solutions oriented and is targeted at small to medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) that may be operating with the supply chains of large multinationals and are exposed to international trade or only supply domestic markets. Co-authoring the brief, Felipe will bring to the table reNature’s insights on regenerative agriculture and agroforestry.
