Interested in developing solutions to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere? We have an exciting opening for a postdoc to work with us on the first field trials of Enhanced Rock Weathering applied to agroecosystems as a carbon dioxide removal strategy. The researcher will need to conduct various geochemical and isotopic analyses on soils and soil waters to quantify CO2 removal, and work with others to integrate these data into geochemical models of weathering processes. The postdoc will be based in Southampton, UK but will work closely with colleagues within the Leverhulme Centre for Climate Change Mitigation (LC3M) at the University of Sheffield. The position is available for up to 3 years.
