This document provides information for iwi/ Māori about the proposed National Policy Statement for Indigenous Biodiversity (NPSIB). The NPSIB will provide clear direction to councils on their responsibilities for identifying, protecting, managing and restoring indigenous biodiversity under the Resource Management Act 1991.

This consultation closes on 14 March 2020 at 5pm.
