This report, by Professor Patricia Thornley, Director of the European Bioenergy Institute at Aston University, is the Chair’s summary produced on behalf of the advisory board convened for the Committee on Climate Change’s (CCC) Biomass in a low-carbon economy report.

The advisory board was convened by the CCC to provide expert advice to feed in to the biomass report. The Chair’s report endeavours to provide a summary of some of the key issues discussed by the advisory group.
