Members of Australian Resources and Energy Group AMMA are encouraged to provide feedback to additional proposed changes to Work Health & Safety and Workers’ Compensation.
The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is seeking feedback from businesses as significant changes are proposed for Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Workers’ Compensation regulation.
There are currently a number of reviews and inquiries assessing change options, as well as the ongoing review of the model WHS laws. Changes being considered include:
- New psychological WHS Regulations;
- Associated new WHS requirements for business around “mental health” training, injury notification and risk management; and
- Changes to the way “stress claims” are managed through workers’ compensation.
An ACCI survey aims to gather business views on key WHS focus areas such as work-related mental health and your workers’ compensation experiences.

The survey closes Friday 20th March 2020 and takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes to complete.
