Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, WA is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate with strong background in the integration of multi-omic data (e.g., metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, metametabolomics) with metabolic models in environmental systems (e.g., sediments, soils, surface water) that contain highly diverse microbial communities. The candidate will use data generated through the WHONDRS consortium ( https://whondrs.pnnl.gov/ ) to develop metabolic models and link those to reactive transport models that integrate hydrology with biogeochemistry and microbiology.
