英文摘要 | The EMEP MSC-W model was applied for the first time at a high spatial resolution for Eastern Europe. The focus in this study is on Poland, which experiences high concentrations of atmospheric aerosols, and where limit values are significantly exceeded each year. In this study we aim to explore whether the modelling system based on the WRF and EMEP models could be used in air pollution management in Eastern Europe. Secondly, we plan to present the role of emission data in air pollution modelling through the use of two databases: 1) TNO MACC III covering Europe; and 2) TNO MACC III, supported with a high resolution local database for domestic combustion and road transport. In general, the performance of the EMEP4PL model is satisfactory for air quality assessment. The improvement of the model results after the incorporation of high resolution information concerning emissions is dependent on the seasons. |
