Warming waters spark marine migration, fish wars
NARRAGANSETT, R.I. — Rising ocean temperatures are creating ripple effects across coastal communities as more fish head north in search of cooler waters. Fishermen complain that quotas have not kept pace with shifting stocks, making it harder for them to bring fish to market and make a living. And with water temperatures projected to continue rising, the troubles may become even more acute.
