-WWF-Mongolia organized a student scientific conference in December 2018 with the National University of Science. During the second year of the conference, the research works on small rodents, plant condition, pasture condition and shrub condition in Khar Yamaat Nature Reserve were presented. Participants actively discussed the findings and results of comprehensive research works. In addition, research students from the Law Enforcement University participated in the conference, which shows WWF's work on combating and minimizing illegal activities against the environment.
-Khar Yamaat Nature Reserve rangers jointly with local residents planted 70 saplings and 30 black alder seedlings in Bayan-Ovoo soum. Two tons of water transported to water newly and previously planted trees thoroughly, and the surrounding discarded trees were cleaned. Also the volunteer rangers were handed over work clothes.
