WWF-Mongolia has a tradition of organizing campaign which was initiated for gazelle conservation in the eastern region. The campaign is to decrease illegal hunting, to organize patrol and monitoring and to change local citizens’ attitude towards gazelle, as well as to increase participation in gazelle conservation.  
This year was a remarkable for the campaign. The main reason why is that children played main role for the campaign. They have been studying what they need to do to make gazelle conservation more effective, and they have heard local communities’ suggestion.
The result meeting “OUR LITTLE SOLUTION” was held in Choibalsan, Dornod province on December 15, 2018. The meeting was attended by over 90 students and teachers from 12 soums of Khentii, Dornod and Sukhbaatar province. Province governors and specialists participated in the discussion and heard children's opinions.
Children expressed challenges they are facing to conserve gazelle, also they said illegal wildlife trade prevention needs more attention. The children also performed culture  programs such as poetry, singing and drama about gazelle which was applauded by the participants.
In the end of the meeting, eco club children requested local authorities to take action on gazelle conservation. These requests include: to suspend hay cutting near the breeding and wintering area, to increase the number of rangers and herder rangers, take action against illegal hunting, report gazelle hunting permission publicly and to support organizing of “Eco mini parliament” which will include students and community representatives.
