In the U.S., an enormous network of pipelines is aging underground. Municipal managers, contractors, engineers, and consultants face the difficult task of renewing, rehabilitating, and replacing these systems efficiently and cost-effectively.

The Water Environment Federation (WEF; Alexandria, Va.) supports these efforts with its newest publication, Trenchless Technology and Asset Management.
