Beijing, 18 April 2018: China Business Council for Sustainable Development (CBCSD) has held its 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Beijing.

Board members, senior executives and representatives from member companies including Sinopec, BP China, SGCC, Veolia, Baowu Group, BASF, Schneider Electric, DSM, DuPont, SDIC, Arconic, Huafon Group and Sinowind attended the AGM. The AGM approved the work review of 2017 and work plan for 2018, the expenditure statement of 2017 and budget for 2018.

Philips Lighting (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and SABIC officially joined CBCSD as members. Ms. Lily Young, VP of Greater China of Philips Lighting, and Mr. Li Lei, SABIC VP China and Regional Head, North Asia, joined as Council Members of CBCSD. The conference also approved that Ms. Shauna Huang, VP of Corporate Affairs of Arconic Inc. China Ltd., Mr. Bernd Eikens, EVP of UPM, and Mr. Matsuzaki Hiroshi, Chairman and General Manager of Mitsui Chemicals (China) Co. Ltd. respectively will serve as the new Council Member representing each company.
