10/04/2019 - The latest OECD Economic Survey of China, to be released on Tuesday 16 April, analyses the challenges posed by slowing growth, trade frictions and high levels of debt. The Survey discusses policies that can help China continue rebalancing its economy towards greater domestic consumption and services, enhance economic efficiency by creating a single product and labour market and ensure that future growth is sustainable, greener and more inclusive.

The Survey will be available to registered journalists on the OECD's password-protected website at 8:00 CET (6:00 GMT) on Tuesday 16 April for immediate release.

OECD Deputy Secretary-General Ludger Schuknecht will present the Survey during a press conference at the Tangla Yaxiu Hotel in Beijing, starting at 14:00 local time (No. 19 Fuxingmenwai Street, Chang’an Avenue West, Xicheng District, Beijing).

A pre-launch event exclusively for foreign diplomatic missions and international media will be held at the Embassy of France in China (60, Tianzelu Chaoyangqu, Beijing 100600) at 9 am the same day. The event is being organized at the Embassy of France in China at the request of the OECD, as part of France’s responsibilities as the host country of the Organisation.
