Executive Director of Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), Torgny Holmgren and UN-Water Chair, Guy Ryder sign an agreement between their respective organizations. This marks a continued collaboration for World Water Week in Stockholm since the start in 2012.
“On behalf of UN-Water Members and Partners, I would like to express our gratitude to SIWI for your crucial support to UN-Water,” said Mr. Ryder after signing the Memorandum of Understanding.
Mr. Holmgren stressed the importance of the collaboration, especially in aligning the themes of World Water Week, the World Water Development Report and the World Water Week in Stockholm.
World Water Week in Stockholm is an annual event to focus on global water issues and the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a Partner of UN-Water.
